Support for the overwhelmed mind, body, and nervous system

Many people who struggle with focus, emotional regulation, motivation, or chronic overwhelm have spent years believing something is fundamentally wrong with them. Over time, constant pressure to keep up, stay organized, push through exhaustion, or function like everyone else can create deep stress within the nervous system.

From a somatic and nervous-system-informed perspective, many ADHD experiences are not simply about productivity or willpower. They are often connected to chronic stress, overstimulation, emotional intensity, sensory overload, and the body's ongoing attempt to cope with too much input for too long.

You may resonate with this work if you often experience:

  • emotional overwhelm or shutdown
  • cycles of burnout and overfunctioning
  • task paralysis or difficulty initiating
  • racing thoughts or difficulty slowing down
  • sensory overwhelm and exhaustion
  • shame around productivity or consistency
  • feeling mentally "on" all the time

Rather than focusing only on behavior or performance, somatic work explores how stress and overwhelm live within the body and nervous system. Together, we work toward greater awareness, steadiness, self-understanding, and more sustainable ways of functioning.

Our work may include:

  • grounding and regulation practices
  • nervous system education
  • emotional processing support
  • embodiment and body awareness
  • creating supportive rhythms and boundaries
  • practical tools for daily life

Sessions are collaborative and individualized. Some are more reflective and emotionally supportive, while others focus on helping clients build practical tools for regulation, focus, recovery, and capacity in everyday life.

This work is not about forcing yourself to function harder. It is about learning how to work with your nervous system rather than constantly against it.

You do not have to navigate overwhelm alone.
