Nervous System Support
Practical, embodied tools for regulation, resilience, and steadiness.
Education, practices, and ongoing support to help you understand your nervous system and develop sustainable ways to regulate, recover, and return to yourself.
Trauma-Sensitive Support
A gentle, present-focused relationship with the body
Past experiences can continue to shape how the nervous system responds to closeness, uncertainty, rest, sensation, and the experience of being present in the body.
I offer gentle, present-focused somatic support for adults who want to develop a greater sense of steadiness, choice, and connection within themselves. The work may include orienting to the present environment, grounding, supportive imagery, breath and sensory awareness, resourcing, pacing, and relational co-regulation.
You will not be asked to recount or revisit traumatic experiences in detail. Practices are collaborative, invitational, and adjusted according to your responses, preferences, and capacity in the moment. The intention is to support greater nervous system awareness and gradually create more room for presence, agency, and embodied connection.
Scope of this offering
This offering is not trauma therapy and does not include diagnosis, trauma-memory processing, exposure therapy, EMDR, or treatment of PTSD or complex PTSD. It may complement work with a licensed trauma therapist or other healthcare professional when appropriate.
Practices such as breath awareness, imagery, grounding, or attention to bodily sensation are never assumed to be regulating for everyone. You are welcome to keep your eyes open, change a practice, pause, or stop at any point.
Recovery-Sensitive Support
Reconnecting with presence in the body
Substance use and recovery can shape the experience of being present within the body. Sensation, emotion, rest, stillness, and internal awareness may feel unfamiliar, uncomfortable, or difficult to remain with.
I offer gentle, present-focused somatic support for adults who want to develop a more grounded and compassionate relationship with their bodies as part of an established or emerging recovery pathway. Practices may include orienting to the present environment, grounding, sensory awareness, supportive imagery, gentle movement, pacing, and relational co-regulation.
The work is collaborative and guided by your responses in the moment. You will not be expected to force bodily awareness, remain with an uncomfortable practice, or disclose the details of your substance-use history. Practices can be changed, paused, or declined at any time.
The intention is to gradually create more room for presence, choice, connection, and embodied awareness.
Scope of this offering
This offering is not substance-use treatment, addiction counseling, detoxification, withdrawal support, relapse prevention, medical monitoring, psychotherapy, or crisis care. It does not include diagnosis, treatment planning, medication guidance, or recommendations about beginning, stopping, reducing, or changing substance use.
This work may complement appropriate substance-use treatment, medical care, psychotherapy, peer recovery support, or other recovery resources when those services are needed.
Sessions focus on present-moment awareness, embodied connection, regulation, and choice. They do not include monitoring sobriety, directing a recovery plan, treating cravings, managing withdrawal, or advising someone to begin, stop, reduce, or change substance use. Grounding, imagery, breath, movement, and sensory practices are offered as invitations, experimented with at your own pace, and may be adjusted, paused, or declined at any time.
Individualized, Accessible Care
Sessions can often be adapted for clients living with chronic pain, chronic illness, mobility limitations, sensory sensitivities, neurodivergence, or other accessibility needs.
