Many people seeking support are carrying far more than others realize.
Some are navigating burnout, emotional overwhelm, grief, chronic stress, sensitive nervous systems, ADHD-related challenges, illness, fertility journeys, relationship difficulties, or major life transitions. Others simply know they no longer want to continue moving through life in survival mode.
My work is designed to offer a steady, compassionate space where clients can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and receive thoughtful support that honors both emotional experience and the nervous system.
The work we do together is collaborative, individualized, and grounded in somatic awareness, embodiment, nervous system education, emotional support, and practical integration into everyday life.
Individual Somatic Work Sessions
One-on-one support for emotional wellbeing, embodiment, and nervous system awareness
Individual sessions provide space to slow down and better understand what your body, emotions, and nervous system may be carrying beneath the surface.
Many clients come to this work feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from themselves, stuck in chronic stress patterns, or unsure how to create meaningful change without continuing to push themselves harder.
Somatic work offers a more compassionate and embodied approach.
Sessions may support individuals navigating:

Nervous System Support Sessions
Support for periods of overwhelm, stress, dysregulation, and emotional exhaustion
There are seasons in life when the nervous system becomes overloaded by stress, caregiving, grief, uncertainty, illness, pressure, or simply carrying too much for too long.
Many people begin functioning in survival mode without fully realizing how deeply exhausted or dysregulated they have become until the body eventually demands attention through overwhelm, shutdown, anxiety, emotional flooding, fatigue, or disconnection.
These sessions are designed to provide grounded support during those periods.
Together, we may focus on:
- regulating overwhelm and emotional flooding
- building greater steadiness and capacity
- reconnecting with the body gently
- supporting rest and recovery
- understanding stress responses
- creating more sustainable patterns and rhythms

During this conversation, we may discuss what brings you here, the kinds of support you are looking for, questions you may have about the process, and whether working together feels like a supportive fit.
There is no pressure to commit to anything during this call. Sometimes people simply need a grounded space to ask questions and begin considering what support could look like.
New clients do not need to book a consultation first. If you are ready to begin somatic work with Dr. Rice, you may schedule your first appointment directly.

Couples & Family Support
Nervous-system-informed support for couples and families navigating stress and transition
While much of my work focuses on individual support, I also work with couples and families seeking greater steadiness, emotional connection, communication, and support during stressful or emotionally demanding seasons of life.
This work may be especially supportive during:
- transitions into parenthood
- fertility challenges
- chronic illness or caregiving stress

Together, we explore how stress and nervous system overwhelm shape relational dynamics while building greater awareness, emotional safety, grounding, and co-regulation within relationships and family systems.
Sessions are supportive, reflective, and practical, with a focus on helping people move through difficult seasons with greater steadiness, compassion, and connection.
Session Fee
$220 / 75-minute virtual session
A limited number of sliding scale openings may be available for couples or families experiencing financial hardship.
This work is supportive and nervous-system-informed in nature and is not couples psychotherapy or crisis intervention.

While single sessions can be meaningful and supportive, many clients find that consistent work over time allows for deeper awareness, integration, steadiness, and sustainable change.
Healing and nervous system support rarely happen through pressure or urgency. More often, meaningful growth unfolds gradually through consistency, reflection, support, and the experience of no longer navigating everything alone.
